Raised in Westchester County, Sexton comes to Edible after more than a decade of writing about delicious food and drink. She is a former sous chef (with the scars to prove it); a national award–winning blogger; a restaurant critic; a longtime food and drinks columnist; and an editor. Meanwhile, she also managed to bang out a book for Globe-Pequot Press, Hudson Valley Chef’s Table. When not eating, drinking, writing or traveling, she’s an avid cook and distracted gardener. Sexton remains eternally grateful that she ditched graduate school to work with the badass people of food and drink.
